How it works

Digital advertising screens work differently from a poster or a Facebook ad. Here we explain it briefly and honestly.

How are ads displayed on a screen?

A digital advertising screen shows 6 ads every minute. Which 6 are determined by bidding. If 10 businesses want to advertise on the same screen at the same time, 6 of them win. The rest wait until the next minute.

What does a single display cost?

That depends on the location and time of day. A screen on a busy shopping street on Saturday afternoon costs more than a screen in a quiet neighbourhood on Tuesday morning. We know those prices well. That's why we bid smart: not too much, not too little.

Do I need to bid myself?

No. We do that for you. You choose your screen, we handle the rest. To be honest though: we sometimes lose a bid. So it's possible you stand in front of the screen for five minutes without seeing your ad go by. That's normal and it doesn't affect the total number of views you'll receive.

What do you guarantee?

We always guarantee the number of views we promised you at purchase. One view is one person seeing your ad. How many times your ad is shown per day per screen is estimated based on our experience with that location.

When will I see my own ad on the screen?

We can't control that precisely. Due to the bidding system, it's not certain when your ad will appear on a screen. Are you standing in front of the screen and don't see it right away? Don't worry. It is being shown. Sometimes it's a matter of timing and a bit of luck.

Tip

Tip: want to take a photo or video of your screen?

We can temporarily boost your ad, so it appears much more frequently on the screen for one hour. Perfect if you want to make a video for your social media.

Want to boost? Let us know. We’ll arrange it personally, so please allow one business day for preparation. It doesn’t cost anything extra, but we love seeing nice photos and videos! We’re busy behind the scenes from Monday to Friday.
